LIFE behind her LENS...
Chrystal McCoy is a beautifully blended miracle baby born from power parents Claudette McCoy and Gary Davis. A vibrant vessel of mixed melanin decent, she's a rare foreign joy of Jamaican, Cuban, Indian, Irish, and Nigerian heritage. Proudly hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland, she's an American citizen, published professional super model, international brand ambassador, timelessly trained esteemed SAG actor, elite activist, authentic artist, and full time certified CEO, producer and director of her very own production company MPP. As the first born United States citizen of her family, she has beat the odds stacked since birth as a literal miracle child, born Chrystal Paige Davis and later took on her mothers maiden name "McCoy" as she progressed powerfully into her higher callings and always cared more about not just making a name for herself but carrying on the rich legacy and royal family lineage that raised her well, "The Real McCoy's". Chrystal has created her own authentic brand as the Rare McCoy and is currently headquartered in Pasadena, California where peace, progression, heavenly healing and God's plan is her priority. Chrystal is the proud product and miracle marvel of her mother & grandmother's prayers, a first generation Cuban-Jamaican born in the U.S.A. September 16th in Silver Spring, MD as the youngest in her immediate family. As a natural born leader both behind and in front of the camera, she began modeling before she could speak, all while studying historical revolutionary world leaders like Marcus Garvey, Harriet Tubman, Malcom X and Dr. MLK and the heroic queens of color like Angela Davis, Toni Morrison, Coretta Scott King, and many more her father insisted was instilled in her early on. They molded the mindset of Mrs McCoy that her father divinely developed, as he was a freedom fighter himself. Chrystal was shockingly able to read, write, and intelligently engage in extremely intellectual divine dialogue at the astounding early tender age of two years young. Shining bright as an ambitious youth, with high standards and even higher heels she was well beyond her years. While most toddlers were at home coming into their terrible twos, Chrystal's mother fought to enroll her in a prestigious private pre-school. She genuinely enjoyed entertaining people as a toddler, and was scouted by a commercial agent. Chrystal was selected for an elite modeling and acting school at a very young age. She began working professionally under eight years old as a commercial print and runway model, all while remaining on the honor roll in grade school. Her scholarly training balanced with her professionalism and keen interest in the entertainment industry, always kept her occupied. During her senior year of high school, while managing to juggle three jobs, two extracurricular activities, she also managed to complete an internship at the Maryland States Attorney's office to become a criminal justice attorney. She soon realized her original goal to become a lawyer to please her parents was not her true passion. Her consistent ambition to fulfill her dreams of a successful model and actress became her mission as she planned ahead for Manhattan.
She went on to earn her Bachelors of Arts degree in Mass Communications at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University majoring in Television, Radio, and Film. During her matriculation, she studied under her mentor Dr. Herbert Eichelberger, became the Co-President of the Campus Activities Board for over two years, and serves as an esteemed member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, the "Sweet" Alpha Pi chapter initiated in fall 2009. In the spring of 2011, she graduated with honors and moved to Manhattan to pursue her career in modeling, television, and film. Since then she has worked successfully, signing as the face of several international campaign advertisements, graced the runway for numerous designers during Couture Fashion week & New York Fashion week, and covered a variety of commercial print billboards. She's been filmed on a plethora of prime-time television shows including "Power", "Blue Bloods", "The Carrie Diaries", "Younger", "The Breaks", "Seven Seconds" and also played Gabrielle Union's bridesmaid in the feature film "Top Five" directed by Chris Rock. She was selected to be in the 35th season for an off-Broadway theatre company, showcased in NYC. She also managed her own photo work studio uptown in Manhattan. She was the host for an on-air radio talk show for Empire Radio, where she tapped into her witty charm, as she interviewed guest within the entertainment industry.
Chrystal has been cast in the primetime spin-off to "Power" on Starz network called "Power Book II: Ghost" executively produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. Chrystal plays Cabernay the owner of the gentleman's club in the show. She relocated to her second home in Atlanta, Georgia in 2019 and launched her very own production company in 2020 in the midst of the global pandemic all while saying yes to being a winning wife that same spring to her college sweetheart of over a decade. Her husband Jon joined forces with her both personally and professionally as the DFO to her production executive board. They merged their last names becoming the miraculous McCoy Pac's hence to Chrystal curating the company to be deemed as McCoy Pac Productions LLC. In 2024 they've also eloquently established a wealth management subsidiary called McCoy Pac Wealth. Chrystal has successfully worked diligently to develop a plethora of tv, film and podcast productions where her primary show is her talk show series "Truth Be Told". Stay tuned as she flourishes forward as a Godly gem, working with amazing churches within her community to help heal, break generational traumas and build generational wellness and wealth. A profound pearl that shines within all that she does and continues to be led by the holy spirit, grace of God & her queen guardian angel grandmother Delores McCoy.
